Tuesday's Titanic Absurdities: Hard to Imagine Why Americans Don't Trust Their Dumpster Fire Media
Some mornings it doesn’t even pay to get out of bed. The circle of woke is now infesting the professions of anthropology and archaeology:
That’s right: We now have woke nitwits who claim to be “scientists” insisting that their profession must gather and convey less knowledge to the world so that they can properly signal their moronic virtue.
Here are some excerpts from this horrifying story:
There is an interesting controversy brewing in anthropology departments where professors have called for researchers to stop identifying ancient human remains by biological gender because they cannot gauge how a person identified at that the time. Other scholars are calling for researchers to stop identifying race as a practice because it fuels white supremacy.
One of the academics objecting to this effort to stop gender identifications, San Jose State archaeology Professor Elizabeth Weiss, is currently suing her school. Weiss maintains that she was barred from access to the human remains collection due to her opposition to the repatriation of human remains.
…
Graduate students like Emma Palladino have objected that “the archaeologists who find your bones one day will assign you the same gender as you had at birth, so regardless of whether you transition, you can’t escape your assigned sex.”
Professors Elizabeth DiGangi of Binghamton University and Jonathan Bethard of the University of South Florida have also challenged the use of racial classifications in a study, objecting that “[a]ncestry estimation contributes to white supremacy.”
[End]
It goes on, but you get the picture: We mustn’t identify whether bones are from a male or female of the species because we can’t know how that Neanderthal man or woman “identified” while chasing their woolly mammoth down, or whether or not he/she/they cut off his/her/their penis in the process to provide a signal to their fellow Neanderthals.
Also, if the bones you find in Africa can be identified as coming from Africa, that contributes to this thing called “white supremacy.”
These are college professors, folks, really educated people, thus proving the old axiom that holds that just because a person is highly educated doesn’t mean they aren’t a damned idiot.
Holy crap.
[Thanks to NewsTalk 93.1 FM Montgomery radio host Greg Budell for putting me onto this atrocity of a story during our regular Monday live hour yesterday.]
Let’s move on…
Y’all better sit down, because I have some shocking news.
I don’t know how to break this to you, but, see, Americans’ confidence in our utterly corrupt dumpster fire of a news media establishment has hit another new low in the latest Gallup survey:
Overall, just 16% of those surveyed have a degree of trust in “news” contained in newspapers, and only 11% now trust TV news to get the story right.
So hard to imagine why that might be the case, right?
Hey, maybe it could have something to do with the reality that most every major media outlet still pushes the Trump/Russia conspiracy theory years after it was completely debunked by their hero Robert Mueller.
Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that, despite its verification as real by both the New York Times and Washington Post in recent months, pretty much every other major media outlet is still pushing the narrative that Hunter Biden’s laptop is “Russian disinformation.”
During a hearing in May, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul lectured DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that the single biggest purveyor of disinformation on the face of the earth is the U.S. government. What he should have added to that very true statement is that the government pushes its rank disinformation with the full and willing cooperation of the corrupt, raging dumpster fire of propaganda we refer to as our news media.
Speaking of why we don’t trust our corrupt news media anymore, here is The Hill serving as an early booster of Gavin Newsom’s 2024 campaign for the Democrat presidential nomination:
Why, Governor Hair Jell isn’t just talking about climate, he’s planting his flag on that stellar issue, according to the propaganda-meisters at The Hill. If Ron DeSantis were doing the same exact thing Newsom was doing, The Hill’s fake reporters would find a way to describe him as “pouncing” or “attacking” on the issue.
How can we possibly not trust such people? So hard to explain…
Hey, think that baby formula shortage has gotten even a smidgen better since the Biden administration finally engaged on it three months ago? Karine Jean-Pierre says, think again:
Translated: “We aren’t doing a damn thing on this issue and are just hoping that you all will forget about it in the passage of time.”
Don’t expect anymore questions on this one for Ms. Jean-Pierre from our studiously incurious “press corps.”
Meanwhile, at the United Nations, this was happening:
Now, Nelson Mandela’s unjustified prison time was so long and harsh that millions of people around the world developed a false memory of him actually dying while there due to media reports about the brutal and cruel conditions he faced. It’s such a rampant phenomenon that it has a name: The Mandela Effect.
But Mayor Adams thinks his dyslexia - a condition that is misdiagnosed as often as not - was the same thing.
You just cannot make this stuff up, folks. Not in a million billion years. Why would you even try?
That is all.
I believe the Dimocrats/Liberals live in a fantasy world of their own making. They make up the lies, disinformation etc. until they have become a cult of physiological morons.
Mandela's prison time had been earned by him for being communist terrorist.
