Tuesday's Titanic Absurdities: Why Did it Take Trump's Lawyers So Long to File This Simple Motion, and Other Shenanigans

Some questions have no real answers, I know, but I’d sure like to know the answer to this question about the MSNBC report below: Why did it take so long to file this motion to force the Marxist/Alinskyite/Trump hating Obama judge in the Washington, DC case targeting Trump to recuse herself?

Why is this motion coming now, weeks after Trump’s arraignment? Why wasn’t this obvious, frankly necessary motion the very first thing on the Trump legal team’s to-do list?

I’m not a lawyer, obviously, and I’m sure there is some obscure, logical reason why Trump’s lawyers waited this long to fire this shot across the judge’s bow - I just want to know what that reason happens to be.
