Tuesday's Titillating Absurdities: 80,000 Gifts Under the Tree as JFK File Day Finally Arrives
WINNING, GLORIOUS WINNING. Every morning is Christmas morning in the 2nd presidency of Donald John Trump, and this morning will be even more Christmas-y than the previous 56 days, because this morning we have no fewer than 80,000 glorious presents to open in the form of what the President himself told reporters Monday are “unredacted” documents.
I’ll believe that part when I see it, and I really, really hope I’ll see it.
Here’s Trump making the announcement to reporters while visiting the Kennedy Center:
“We are tomorrow announcing and giving all of the Kennedy files. So, people have been waiting for decades for this, and I've instructed my people that are responsible, lots of different people, put together by Tulsi Gabbard, and that's going to be released tomorrow.”
So, what to expect to find in these files? I really have no idea, other than some of them must be embarrassing to the CIA since ex-Director Mike Pompeo literally begged Trump to withhold these documents back during his first presidency. My guess is that might relate to a couple of instances related to CIA’s long and suspicious relationship with Oswald:
