So, just when you think things couldn’t possibly be going any better for the Trump administration, most of its senior officials get on a Signal chat for convenience's sake and include the editor of a hostile Democrat propaganda media outlet on the distribution list. Worse, the purpose of the call was for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to share information - some of it potentially classified, though that is not completely clear - with the group about plans for the attack on the Houthi rebels executed in Yemen two weeks ago.

Whether the inclusion of Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg was “accidental” or not remains unclear, but the person who did it was apparently White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. If that allegation is true, and if the act wasn’t intentional (more on that later) Waltz should proffer his resignation today because the Atlantic and Goldberg are the enemy every bit as much as the Houthis are, and he literally invited them into the administration’s midst.
