Tuesday's Titillating Absurdities: Bondi Keeps Bringing Bill Barr Flashbacks
I’m old enough to remember when AG Pam Bondi promised to release the Epstein files. Yeah, that was last Thursday, when she “released” 120 pages of highly redacted stuff we’d already seen years ago to a bunch of MAGA X influencers, causing all involved a pretty high degree of embarrassment.
Bondi claimed at the time that an internal whistleblower said she had been sandbagged by FBI officials in the New York City office and promised to get to the bottom of that. But nothing further happened on Friday or during the day Saturday. She appeared on Mark Levin’s show Saturday night, where she offered nothing but lame excuses for all the embarrassment and non-action.
Bondi did promise to “fire” the FBI officials involved in the cover-up, but that’s not really sufficient, is it? I mean, any ordinary US citizen who withholds documents from an FBI investigation faces years of prison time, right? So, why would Bondi think merely firing these scumbags is going to satisfy us right now?
