Tuesday's Trek of the Absurdities: Biden's Disgraceful Presidency Keeps Rolling Along
Here’s where Old Joe Biden and the Democrats really want to go with their latest gun control effort:
Justin Trudeau, successfully following his is real father Fidel’s footsteps to become de facto Dictator in Canada, is just acting on the Democrat party’s real impulses. I write much more about that in today’s Campaign Update.
Speaking of dishonest Democrats, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said yesterday that Republicans want to control your lives:
This seems like an appropriate time to remind you that this guy has imposed mask mandates, vaccine mandates and lockdowns on Colorandans for two solid years. But it's Republicans who want to manage your life.
My goodness.
Here, George Mason Economics professor Bryan Caplan weighs in with perhaps the single dumbest take by anyone on any political issue so far this year:
Can there be the slightest doubt that this circus clown enjoys tenure? No doubt whatsoever.
Old Joe Biden traveled to Uvalde on Monday, and of course managed to utterly disgrace himself in the process:
One can almost imagine the conversation among the evil, elder-abusing minions on this subject:
Minion 1: Hey, here’s the invitee list for Old Joe’s media op in Uvalde. Should we let these Border Patrol agents in? After all, they took the guy down…
Minion 2: Are you kidding me? Hell, no, we don’t let them in! We don’t let them anywhere on the property.
Minion 1: Why?
Minion 2: Because these guys have real solutions. We don’t want our guy anywhere in the picture with any real solutions. This is politics, man, not problem solving.
Minion 1: Oh…
From our This is Not Surprising in Any Way, Shape or Form File:
I mean, seriously, if you still don’t understand what a destructive force Facebook and other Big Tech firms have become in our society, I really have nothing else to say to you.
With reports coming out of Ukraine claiming that the Russian army is severely depleted and discouraged, here is what Biden is doing:
Now, to be clear, I’m quite skeptical of any media reports coming out of Ukraine. The utterly corrupt and dishonest nature of our media in America and Europe makes it pretty much impossible to know what the truth really happens to be at any given time.
But let’s say the current reports about the Russian military have some shred of accuracy to them. Wouldn’t this be the time for the U.S. and the rest of Europe to step up and maybe try to help Ukraine actually win the conflict?
Instead, we see Biden essentially saying let's give Ukraine just enough support to prolong the existing parameters of the conflict as long as possible. We'll think about expanding it into Russia later, whenever the polls show it would help Democrats in the mid-term elections.
We are in a proxy war with Russia, but it’s a proxy effort clearly designed to do nothing but prolong the conflict. The motivations behind that are pretty clear to anyone who has studies how the military/industrial/political complex has functioned in our country since the end of WWII.
None of what we are doing vis a vis Ukraine/Russia should surprise us, but it really should disgust us to our bones.
That is all.
