One of the main reasons I like VDH so much is that he invariably brings such a strong historical perspective to his commentaries on current events. After all, you can’t truly understand what is happening in the world in which we all live if we don’t have a strong understanding of how we arrived at this moment in time to begin with.

In the 5-minute clip below - which Elon Musk posted on his X account this morning - from Hanson’s daily podcast, VDH details why the time in which we currently live is not a Trump “revolution,” but a counter-revolution to 12 years of Obama and Biden depravity and social decline.
