The Face of Anti-Semitism: Ukraine Vs. Israel
Why does not the West extend the same latitude to Israel as it does to Ukraine. Consider:
A. When Ukraine properly insists that Russia, not Kyiv, is targeting hospitals, the world rightly believes it.
B. But when Israel demonstrates how a Palestinian rocket intended to kill civilians in Tel-Aviv misfired and hit a Gazan hospital, the world still trusts the proven liars of Hamas. On spec, the Muslim street ignites, the Western press virtue signals the lie, and the Biden administration starts lecturing Israel.
A. Over a thousand Jewish civilians are butchered by invading Hamas death squads, who mutilate the dead and torture the innocent—and our State Department’s Pavlovian first response was to talk of a cease fire to prevent an Israeli response.
B. Yet to have similarly lectured Ukraine not to perpetuate “the cycle of violence” and thus not to respond to blatant Russian aggression and barbarity would earn public censure.
