Wednesday's Absurdity of the Day: It's All Just Kabuki Theater in the DC Swamp

I’ve been telling you all this for years, and I know most readers here already believe it, but if you need any more proof that pretty much everything that happens in Washington, DC these days is just another bit of Kabuki Theater, check out this photo:

That’s China Joe, your illegitimate Sock Puppet, pretending to get a COVID booster shot in the actual White House. As you can clearly observe with your own eyes, he’s actually on a stage. Where that stage happens to be is anyone’s guess.

This happened on a day - the third of the last 6 weekdays - on which the Sock Puppet had zero scheduled public events. Other than getting the shot, that is. And whether he received an actual booster shot or just a placebo is also anyone’s guess. There’s no way to prove it either way, and we know beyond all doubt that this administration will happily lie to us about literally anything and everything.

We also know that they will have the complicity of the utterly corrupt news media to help support and amplify their lies. Think about it: Why haven’t we learned about this stage before now? How long has it been in use? Where is it, exactly? Did Trump use it too? What about Obama and Bush and Clinton - has it been there for 30 years or more?

We saw yet another episode of this media complicity on rank, smelly display over the past weekend, as every one of the Sunday Morning talk show hosts and leftist panelists supported and amplified the Sock Puppet’s ridiculous claim that the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion spending bill (which the CBO says will actually create deficits of up to $6 trillion per year over the next 10 years) is actually paid for and costs nothing. Every Democrat agent on every channel parroted that utterly outrageous lie as if it were the tablets handed down from Mount Sinai.

On Tuesday, we had the Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff committing serial perjury before a senate committee about Afghanistan, and every Democrat on the committee helping to guide them along in their mendacity. Once that deed was done, the parrots in the media parroted their lies willingly, happily and without critical analysis.

Back to the Mother of all budget buster bills, here’s a reporter for the Washington Post playing her role as a happy, unblinking parrot to a T on CNN:

This is a bill that the Sock Puppet himself says will “fundamentally change the way the economy works” in our country. Yes, because if it is passed in its current form, we will be a socialist country. It’s always dangerous and telling on the rare occasion when a Democrat accidentally tells us the truth.

For the Democrats and establishment Republicans in Washington, this is all a play, and the whole town is just a stage. The trouble for us out here in the audience is that it’s our lives they’re playing with.
