Wednesday's Absurdity of the Day: The State Department Didn't Get the Memo About the Taliban

You just cannot make this stuff up, folks. Not in a million years.

Last night, the woke nitwits who run our State Department on behalf of China Joe Biden expressed their apparent surprise and concerns that the 6th-century savages in the Taliban, who now rule Afghanistan thanks to this feckless, dimwit-filled administration, have formed a government that is … wait for it … ALL MALE!

No, seriously, I’m not joking here. Check it out:

Here’s an excerpt from that story at The Hill just in case you think the headline is a typo:

The State Department on Tuesday expressed concerns over the makeup of the new interim Afghan government announced by the Taliban, including the lack of female leaders and the past actions of some of those appointed to top posts.

A State Department spokesperson said in a statement shared with The Hill that although the Taliban “has presented this as a caretaker cabinet,” the U.S. “will judge the Taliban by its actions, not words.” 

“We have made clear our expectation that the Afghan people deserve an inclusive government,” the spokesperson added. 

The statement went on to note that the list of names announced by the Taliban earlier Tuesday “consists exclusively of individuals who are members of the Taliban or their close associates and no women.”

I swear to you that I do not make this stuff up. Who could? And who would even want to?

Ok, so, it is apparent here that no one bothered to inform our child Secretary of State, Anthony Blinkin, or anyone else at the State Department that the Taliban do not exactly pride themselves on their inclusivity. Nor do they give a rat’s ass what the international community thinks, or have any respect or concern in any way, shape or form about women or anyone else who is not also a 6th-century savage.

And let’s examine that last excerpted sentence, shall we? Here it is again: The statement went on to note that the list of names announced by the Taliban earlier Tuesday “consists exclusively of individuals who are members of the Taliban or their close associates and no women.”

Oh, you don’t say. The Taliban are only appointing their members or close associates to high positions in the government they are being allowed to form thanks to the nitwit-filled Biden administration?

ummm…correct me if I’m wrong here, but isn’t that exactly what Joe Biden has done in his own government? Do you see a single Republican in Joe Biden’s cabinet? Do you see a single non-communist Democrat in any position of power? Have we seen China Joe appoint a single conservative judge to the federal bench?

No, of course not. And no one should have expected otherwise.

This statement of “concern” from the woke nitwits at the Department of State has got to rank among the most absurd documents ever issued by the government of the United States at any level. Honestly, what else is there to even say about it?
