Wednesday's Whitewashed Absurdities: Bowman Loses, Boebert Wins, and the NTSB Lambasts Norfolk Southern

Unlike the Biden White House, we here at the Campaign Update remember the tragic Norfolk Southern train derailment that took place at East Palestine, Ohio, in February 2023. Biden’s own National Transportation Safety Board remembers it, too, and held a hearing yesterday at which it rolled out the findings of its investigation into the accident.

Basically, what NTSB found is that Norfolk Southern was grossly negligent, didn’t have proper safety protocols in place, used faulty sensors on its rail line that failed to detect a damaged wheel bearing that threw out sparks for 20 miles before freezing up and causing the freight train to fly off the tracks as it was coming into the town, and then tried to interfere unlawfully into the NTSB’s investigation multiple times as it progressed.

Other than that, NF did just fine, I guess.
