Wednesday's Woeful Absurdities: Trump Just Keeps on Winning; Disney, Twitter Just Keep on Losing
For most of Tuesday evening, it appeared as if Donald Trump had backed a loser in Dr. Oz. The TV doctor trailed in the vote count all the way until midnight, Eastern Time, before finally moving into a tiny lead over his main challenger in the race, David McCormick.
As things stand early Wednesday morning, the race remains too close to call, though Oz’s lead stood at more than 2,600 votes:
With most of the still-uncounted votes sitting in counties where Oz dominated, it appears pretty likely that the Oprah Winfrey acolyte will be the GOP nominee for the senate in Pennsylvania.
Hooboy.
So, Trump got a “win” there, though Oz’s shaky creds as an actual Republican and even shakier creds as a Pennsylvanian do not bode well for the general election. Trump Candidates also won across the rest of the five states that held primaries Tuesday.
The lone notable exception was another very odd guy, Madison Cawthorn, who was running for re-election to congress in North Carolina:
Cawthorn made the rookie mistake of breaking the DC Swamp’s law of Omerta, speaking out about the ‘family business’ (drugs, orgies) as it were, thus attracting a buttload of GOP dark money into the Tarheel State to fund his primary challenger.
Bada-bip bada-boom bada-bing, he’ll now be sleeping with the political fishes.
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
Cawthorn’s loss, coupled with the likely win by Oz and victories by other Trump endorsees around the country bring Trump’s endorsement record to about 85 wins and just 2 losses thus far in 2022, a strong sign of his ongoing dominance of the Republican Party nationally. How that will all work out for the party in November remains to be seen.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams continues to prove to be one of the biggest buffoons holding office in the U.S. today, a sad situation for a city that has suffered under the worst mayor in American history, Bill De Blasio, for the previous 8 years. Many had high hopes for Adams to be a substantial improvement, but thus far he has been no better than De Blasio, and little different.
Yesterday, the dimwitted Mayor decided that the best way to frightened New Yorkers and tourists to ride the crime-ridden subways in the city again would be to try to shame J.P. Morgan Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon into riding them to work:
Just a guess, but I’m thinking Mr. Dimon will likely turn down that invitation to have his head bashed in by a pack of muggers. Holy cow.
In his opening monologue Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson went into great detail exposing how Democrats, not Republicans, have pushed the so-called Great Replacement theory for more than a decade now. As is typical of Carlson, he and his terrific research staff came with receipts. Watch:
As is always the case in America today, the objective truth on this issue is 180 degrees opposite from what the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies are saying about it. No surprise here.

Disney’s public favorability rating has plummeted to a paltry 33% in recent weeks, after the “woke” company publicly came out against a Florida bill aimed at protecting young children from being indoctrinated with LGBTQ propaganda in tax-funded schools.
According to a new poll commissioned by NBC News and conducted by Hart Research Associates/Public Opinion Strategies shows only 15% of respondents said their current opinion of Disney is “very positive,” with another 18% saying them hold a “somewhat positive” view of the company.
The numbers mark a sharp decline in the public’s opinion of the kids’ entertainment company, falling from a 77% positive rating in early March, according to another Public Opinion Strategies poll.

Ouch, that’s gotta hurt.
While the corrupt mainstream media was coordinating with their Democrat masters on the latest political hoax effort, the real journalists at Project Veritas were doing the work they should be doing, exposing another devastating hidden camera conversation with another horror show Twitter executive:
The fact that an abject clown like this is actually a senior executive at Twitter says pretty much all Elon Musk needs to know about the quality of the company’s work force.
Musk has indicated he would get rid of about 1,000 of Twitter’s 7,500 or so employees once he assumes control of the company. These Project Veritas videos are hopefully waking him up to the stark reality he is going to face when that day arrives. If he really wants to turn this despicable thought control company around, he is going to have to tear it down to the studs and rebuild it and its workforce all over again.
Of course, that all assumes Musk’s goal here is to really acquire the company and reform it. After Tuesday, I’m beginning to wonder if that ever really was his goal.

Was exposing Twitter's apparent securities fraud Elon Musk’s goal all along? I’m beginning to believe it might have been. Of course, it would be possible for Musk to accomplish both things here. But, if the percentage of bot accounts is really “much higher” than 20%, as Musk indicates he believes it might be in that exchange, that would mean the actual value of the company is far lower than the tender offer he put in to obtain it.
It would also mean that Twitter management is guilty of committing massive securities fraud, and people could be going to jail. Whether Musk really wants to be the new owner of what might have been a long-term scam operation is anyone’s guess.
One thing is certain: It’s going to be tons of fun watching this drama play out to its conclusion.

The twitter and Musk thing...this should be such fun to just watch the burning down of the much hyped social media via the SEC and future possible actions. Lots of popcorn at the ready along with adult beverages.
Could care less about NYC and the apparent hellhole it has become. Just find it laughable to watch CA and NY circle the drain. Along with a bunch of other blue controlled areas. They deserve what they get.

Nov. '22 is gonna be very interesting, if we get there. Expect more shenanigans by the commies over the summer and increasing into the fall. Covid 2.0? Perhaps. Which will fail miserably. The folks are tired of it all. At least in "flyover country" we are.
