Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was showing he knows what a woman actually is by declaring the actual woman who finished first among all the actual women in the recent NCAA women’s swimming championships, Emma Weyant, to be the…wait for it…champion:

I can’t be sure, but I’m doubtful that Gov. DeSantis needed to consult a biologist to determine whether or not Ms. Weyant is actually a ‘woman.’ Call it a hunch.

• What is a book, because she didn’t major in creative writing;

• What is a hotel, because she’s not a part of the hospitality industry;

• What is the U.S. Constitution, because she’s never read the damn thing in her life.

Seriously, if Ketanji Brown Jackson didn’t already exist, you could never make her up in a million billion years. And why would anyone but Joe Biden even want to?
