Why Balk at Re-Defining a Recession?
Old Joe Biden is back to hiding-in-the-basement mode in the wake of his supposed positive diagnosis for COVID-19. He recorded a video from his home-away-from-home at the hospital Monday that is reminiscent of all those sleepy vids from his Delaware home basement we saw during the last campaign.
In it, the Sock Puppet-in-Chief assured us that “We’re not going to be in a recession”:
“We’re not going to be in a recession, uh, in my view, uh. We are…the employment (presumably he meant UNemployment) rate is still one of the lowest we had in history, in the 3.6 area, uh, (scratches head) we still find ourselves with people investing. Uh, my hope is, uh, we go from this rapid growth to a steady growth, and, uh, so ah see, wuh see a steady coming down. But I don’t think we’re going to, uh, God willing, I don’t think we’re gonna see a recession.”
