Why the Memphis Killer is the Perfect Metaphor for Today's Democrat Party
If ever there was a perfect metaphor for the inevitable outcomes of the policies of today’s Democrat party, his name is Ezekiel Dejuan Kelly. Kelly is the 19 year-old early-release convict who was stupidly let out of prison a third of the way through a 3-year sentence for what the Mayor of Memphis said was an aggravated assault plea bargain.
“Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland said Kelly had been released from jail March 16 after serving 11 months of a three-year sentence for an aggravated assault plea.”
It’s important to understand, though, that this 2020 plea bargain, agreed-to by a Democrat prosecutor, was a heinous miscarriage of justice to begin with. Court records show that Kelly had been charged with a crime spree that included “four felony charges, including two counts of attempted murder, one count of reckless endangerment and one count of possession of a firearm in 2020 at the age of 17.”
