He has risen!

Sounds a great deal like the Church we attend here in Alabama.

I was born and raised Jewish but after praying to God, and God of my fathers, Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, that if Jesus was truly the Messiah, I wanted to know and to please prove it to me. After several nights of this bedtime prayer, the Lord revealed Himself to me supernaturally. I attend a Christian non-denominational church and this weekend turned my younger sister onto Isaiah 53 which she never knew about before despite being an observant Jew and holding a leadership position in her synagogue. He is Risen!

Good on you on the church. I’ve also found if old rednecks like us get into a consistent prayer life awesome things happen. Holy Spirit becomes your wingman and God becomes your buddy. 👍

So great to hear you finding a great Bible-believing, Christ-centered church, David! Peace and wisdom come from the Lord, in increasing measure, as you draw closer and closer to Him! Looks like you're entering a new season.

I was raised in the Catholic Church, attended Catholic grade school & was confirmed by a bishop. While I attend mass with my mother when I visit her (every other month due to distance) I now attend a non-denominational church regularly. I've found that environment to be conducive to understanding The Bible. The Catholic Church has a more ritualistic service these days with little time spent studying The Bible.

Happy Easter; Rest in Peace Jorge (ie Pope Francis).
