Campaign Update: Iowa Saves the GOP and the Republic From Nikki Haley

Yesterday, I told you that Iowa would give Donald Trump a big win, with something over 50% of the vote. During our weekly Tales From the Idiocracy Podcast with Greg Budell, which I will post here later today, I predicted Trump would win 52%. of the vote.

I was close: Trump won with 51%. That’s good news, and even better news comes in the fact that Ron DeSantis, not the warmongering threat to our freedom Nikki Haley, finished second. It was a distant second to be sure. DeSantis finished 30 points behind Trump with 21%, with Haley an even more distant 3rd at just 19%, underperforming the pre-caucus polling by 5-6 points.
