Campaign Update: The Gowdy and Gaetz Show is Playing Out Perfectly for Trump
Trey Gowdy, the blowhard former Republican congressman who mysteriously gave up his seat in 2019 to become a highly paid contributor at Fox News, opened his weekly Sunday show with a monologue trashing Matt Gaetz’s nomination to be attorney general.
In his opening segment, Gowdy rehashed every smear, hoax, and scam that has been run against Gaetz by the Democrats and their media toadies in recent years, proving one more time that Gowdy is nothing more than the Deep State’s stalking horse for the anti-Trump Murdoch family. Despite his public tough guy posturing while in congress, remember that Gowdy has been only too happy to support and constantly recite all the smears, hoaxes, scams the Dems and their propaganda wing in the legacy media have mounted against Trump since coming to Fox News.
As I noted here Saturday morning, when Gowdy tried to recite these smears towards Gaetz on Friday evening’s Fox Report panel, Mollie Hemingway was there to call him out. So, being the coward he really is, Gowdy decided to roll it all out on his own program Sunday evening when there would be no one present to refute the nonsense.
