Done With Trump
At around noon Saturday, former president Donald Trump posted this, I guess at his “truth social” site:
For those of you who still think you want this guy to be the 2024 GOP nominee, it might be a good exercise for you to remember that he was perfectly happy to appoint the woman he now refers to as “Coco Chow” to be U.S. Secretary of Transportation in 2017, and seemed to have no problem at all with her service in the job for four solid years. Seems odd, if he really thought she was a “China lover.”
I’m done with Trump. Will not support him in the GOP primaries and will not vote for him if he is the GOP 2024 nominee.

So...Your Mom & Dad said things that "offended" you. Did you drop or disregard them ? Did you turn out O.K. ? Trump's policies worked out pretty well. I'll take some questionable quotes & "harsh" language to get back to $2.00 gas & a healthy 401k. I support Trump all the way !! How many of you can honestly say that you could withstand the constant barrage of crap he deals with daily & not lose your composure even once ? Like the quote says....GOD does not choose the perfect person...HE chooses the person perfect for the job.
I, too, love what you do, David, but think you're wrong on this, for the reasons cited by Rob and the fact McConnell has proven to be a total crook who regularly sells us out and grasps nothing of what the base (including me) wants. He hates conservatives like me, in fact, and he is a terrible\, terrible image and leader. Yes, he came through on the judges but any good Republican leader should and probably would have done the same. Meanwhile, he takes money from Republicans and uses to fight against principled Republicans in primaries so he can protect the likes of Thad Cochran and Lisa Murkowski. I'm done with corrupt Republicans like him and, yes, I do believe he's a China stooge. Trump is an unequaled disruptor and as much as I like DeSantis, I will definitely support Trump if he's in the game.
