I spend far too much time here focusing on the myriad negative aspects of our society today, so I hope readers will allow me the indulgence of doing an entirely positive piece today.
thanks for this. With all the crazy crap going on, we all have to look to the simple things in life for maintaining our sanity. Occasionally, we do get to see that goodness is really everywhere, just getting harder to see.
There is still good in the world, and MANY good people out there. In fact, I believe the good outweighs the bad by a long shot. Its just that the bad gets the headline, the good is the norm. And, the impact of the bad can be worse than the combined good. It doesn’t take many cancer cells to upset the multitude by far of “good” cells. Appreciate the good, expose and destroy the bad. And sadly, it will get worse, (probably much worse) before it gets better. But we have to keep believing it will get better, and keep striving to make it better. Great story!
Wow! Thank you David for sharing some "good news" with us today. I had lost all hope in humanity, your and Terri's experience gives me just a sliver of hope.❤️
Thank you for the warm feelings and reminder to recognize our many blessings-I left my cell phone on the sink in the ladies’ room at the rodeo last weekend, (which was my first rodeo, & fantastic) and the custodial lady rushed out to give it to me. God bless Texas ❤️
Loved this so much, David 😁
We really do need to stop and be grateful for so many things- thank you for the encouragement.
Good warm story with a blessing in the end. Enjoy those grandkids they do grow up fast.
