In this week’s Bonus Hour of Tales From the Idiocracy, David Blackmon joins WACV 93.1 FM Radio legend Greg Budell and his sidekick Pamela DuBuque for a rapid-fire tour of the stubborn detritus of the American Idiocracy left behind by four years of a pretend POTUS.
The Texas legislature does do a few things to protect us from our horrible city governments (I'm in Austin).
I'm not sure about the exact years, but around 2022, IIRC, Austin passed an ordinance to end the use of natural gas in Austin. It was going to start with new construction and over time take away our affordable stoves and furnaces. Both of mine are 56 years old and still going strong.
The TX leg. passed a state law forbidding such discrimination against energy sources and made the Austin ordinance invalid. They also overruled Austin's idiot plastic bag law, although the Austin HEBs (TX grocery chain) is apparently run by some self-righteous virture signaler, because we still don't have bags in the Austin HEBs. You can go to Westlake, which is completely surrounded by Austin, and their HEB gives out bags, but not the ones in Austin.
My greatest dream is to be invited on this radio show.
Well, fourth greatest, but this is a family platform.
Peter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
:-)
If I had a million dollars, I think I could hook that up!
Crockett has to be a plant 🤔.
Otherwise a gift 🎁.
But an embarrassment to our country nonetheless.

We’re getting an HEB in the DFW mid cities. No bags will not fly around here.
