Yesterday, America discovered why no one at the Department of Transportation other than Preacher Pete’s closest deputies there even knew their ostensible Secretary was missing while he took four months off for “parental leave” after he and his husband adopted twins. The man is a clueless nitwit, and the department no doubt ran far more smoothly in his absence.
Apparently there was this one example 'robert moses' in New York that this instance is specifically referring to where the planning of the bridge was made so affluent people with cars could drive under the bridge, and public transit couldn't. Then they say there's proof and fact it was racially motivated. Its just one weak point to try and justify their position, like saying Derek Chauvin (spelling?) represented all cops and they're all racist because they believe he was.
Nobody defending Peety Pete goes on however to explain how one example represents the whole. Or how this is a federal issue at all. You tell me a state had a racist dude pulling strings like that, I ask why the state leadership hasn't fixed it yet. If they havent, maybe it's not a big enough issue, or they are incompetent and shouldn't win their blue campaigns year over year.
