So, maybe Iran takes Donald Trump seriously? B2s + 30,000 ton bonds seem to be good negotiating tools…if you’re prepared to use them. And, when you realize Trump is prepared to do that, it changes things.

What’s sad is that too many Americans felt their hearts sink when they heard this news. They dreamt of a debacle, a regional and maybe even a global catastrophe that they could pin on Trump as they gleefully watched his approval ratings tumble. That’s really the only thing on their Christmas wish list. There are few, if any, happy endings in the Middle East, of course, so maybe one day bad Santa will make their wish come true. But not today. Any decent person should welcome this news while also saying a prayer that it will actually take us all a step closer to a true and sustainable peace and not just kick the radioactive can further down the road. The hard work begins now. It would be better for us all if Trump had some semblance of a supportive nation behind him.

If this pans out I confess I was wrong. But I respect Massie and MTG for standing on their terms. We shouldnt all be like Lindsey Graham.

WTF were MTG's "terms," if you don't mind filling me in? Her statement is filled with utter bullshit that is non-reflective of a single fact on the ground. I'd really love to know what I'm missing here.

America before bombs in another country? She stated her thoughts on the bombing yesterday.

And in other areas she said peace was the answer. As did Tucker and many others and guess what? eventually we got there. We disagreed on the methods but agreed on the end goal. Many justifiably worried about the fallout of the methods used and didnt want the US in a hot war with Iran. That shouldnt be a bad take.

Its good we can presumably move on now. And maybe congress can do something for the American people by passing bills that will save us some money and not offshore it.

Maybe Trump should try and primary the members who are keeping in IRA climate crap in the OBBB, or members trying to bail out high tax blue states who need SALT deductibility on the backs of red states, instead of targeting the members who dont sit in the echo chamber and want to save their constituents money.

She said Trump had gotten us into "another forever war" with zero evidence that was the case. She accused Trump of breaking his campaign promises, promises he never made. She accused Trump of bad faith, when Trump has been the one person in Washington being 100% transparent about what he was planning to do and why. Everything she said was 100% bullshit. Period. She owes the President a huge apology, and the country for that matter.

Come on now. Nothing is 100% David. Take the Trump tinted glasses off for a second. Yes hes right. Fantastic. But in his efforts he was floating regime change himself. Thats contrary to saying they cant have nukes. Thats not 100% clear. Tell me a time a regeime change didnt kick off a war in our previous decades. Also, other countries said they'd retaliate against us if we attacked, yeah they blew smoke out their ass but that's not a 100% chance it wouldn't happen.

If everyone owes Trump and apology for being a skeptic and having a differing opinion then we might as well kiss his shoes. That attitude legitimized the leftists king bullshit.

This clip of Trump contains the essence of why he resonates with people. If only the world were that simple.

Both Carlson and Bannon have just carried on like Trump was Bush, Obama or Biden which is strange since they know him so well but now it seems they do not. But Carlson seems to be enthralled with Glenn Greenwald who pounds Israel into the ground constantly and Carlson seems to be catching his . He is, of course, easily persuaded with his experience in Iraq. Carlson still is on a guilt trip for his approval for invading Iraq until he saw what was going on the ground. With Greenwald's pitch against Israel which has grown stronger than his own ego, they both are convinced that Trump will force regime change in Iran.

And, Bannon seems to be a weee bit nasty these days. Prison perhaps? Does he think Trump gave him the shaft after the egregious Pelosi-Chaney, et al. illegal sub-committee determined to break Executive Privilege and off to prison Bannon went along with Peter Navarro? Both refused to submit to the subpoenas issued by the phony and despicable committee of fabrication in a production in prime time by ABC of January 6. And, it seems that Bannon and Trump are non-compatico these days but Navarro was invited back into his WH.

It is a wonder that both were close to Trump, yet believe he'll start WWIII with Iran. For most of us that voted for Trump, we never know what to expect, nor does the media, industry far and wide, and it seems his own Cabinet and the bureaucrats trying to tear his Administration apart, without success. He jangles nerves, keeps everyone thinking and then we who voted for him just crack up since he does take his promises to incredible heights: "I'll stop the war in Ukraine and Russia on day one when I'm President, Canada will be our 51st state, Greenland is up for sale", and that's Trump. No one knows what's in his head, but we remember the first term and when the drone was shot down by Iran, John Bolton was shouting at the rooftops to bomb the country, the days following, Bolton was fired. Later the butcher of Tehran, IRGC head Soleimani was assassinated. No muss, no fuss and that was it. And that is Trump.

So, they are both losing their audience and funds that go with them and it's too bad. But, when you are insecure and believe you are in the inner circle of Trump, you think you can persuade him and he will take it, think about it, ignore it, and then do what he will do since no one matters to him as President except America and her people. So, after the Iranian attack and now ceasefire with Israel, they should just keep their opinions to themselves since no one is listening. Before they continue to lecture us with their predictions of doom, I think it is time for them both to reverse course or get in line with CNN.
