Getting everyone to believe Oswald was somehow the “lone assassin” posed by J. Edgar Hoover tells me Oswald was not alone as we know now the FBI is a lying, corrupt organization and always has been judging from Hoover's extra long tenure as Director. As a former Marine, I can believe Oswald was a lone shooter; however, and could have got off those shots accurately in rapid succession. When given a mission, Marines rehearse over and over again until it's go time. Being that he was a radar operator, those types of MOS's having to do with intelligence have always been ripe for CIA recruitment. PS I have a 1960s vintage hippy button with Oswald's picture that says "The Marine Corps Builds Oswalds", a take on the 60s era recruiting slogan "The Marine Corps Builds Men" LOL

I think Oswald killed Kennedy but was not the only shooter there that day when you take into account the majic bullet (although that is disputed). I shoot a Remington 700 chamberd to 260 with 140 grain match grade rounds and have hit 800 meters plus with100 meters as a near sure thing. The rifle Oswald used was a 6.5×52mm Carcano which is a decent rifle and round and very close to the 260 caliber, as well as, the winchester 308. The last shot Oswald made was the kill shot to the head at 81 meters going stright away from him so he would not have had to lead the target merely adjust for elevation. Oswald was a trained marksman and to make a shot less than 100 meters out would have certainly been within his capability. He was certainly tight on the first shot missing but he hit on the last two.
